A home for high frequencies
The 700 Series features the latest generation of the Solid Body Tweeter, our iconic Top-Mounted Solid Enclosure Tweeter. Its new, elongated shape accommodates a longer tubular loading system for an even freer, more open sound in the high frequencies. The carefully decoupled enclosure is machined from a single block of solid aluminum to better resist resonances.

Carbon Dome tweeters have been developed specifically for the 700 Series. Providing a dramatic improvement over the standard aluminum double dome tweeter, they raise the breakup threshold to 47 kHz for an extremely precise and detailed soundstage.
Truly amazing sound
Thanks to its composite structure, the Continuum cone avoids the abrupt transitions in behavior that can impair the performance of a conventional transducer. The result is a more open and neutral sound quality that allows vocals and instruments to be reproduced with precision and transparency.

Each of the 700 Series three-way models features a dedicated midrange driver utilizing four key Bowers & Wilkins technologies: the Continuum cone, FST, Biomimetic Suspension, and midrange decoupling, the latter ensuring minimal interference with the speaker's woofer performance.

Developed using advanced computer modeling techniques, the Aerofoil profile bass cone has a variable thickness that provides stiffness and rigidity where they're most needed. The result: deep, dynamic bass.
