The WX502/O is a powerful 2-way performance loudspeaker that is specially designed for outdoor use, ensuring true-to-nature, high-fidelity voice and music reproduction. It is equipped with a 1” dome tweeter and a 5 1/4” low frequency speaker, capable of delivering a power of 50 Watt. It can be used in standard 8 ohm systems, but also in 70/100 V PA systems with 40 W, 20 W and 10 W power outlets.
The material used for the mounting bracket on the outdoor versions has been improved with the use of aluminum, making the WX MK2 series even more resistant to extreme weather conditions. The bracket allows users to mount the WX502/O both vertically and horizontally.
The special powder coated treatment provides the necessary protection for all weather conditions. Because of this, the supports can pass the 96-hour salt spray test. A weep hole behind the aluminum grill allows water to flow through and the 5-pole waterproof swivel connector with outlet selection ensures the speaker meets IP55 standard.
