“Perceptibly perfect” 4K60 4:4:4 1 Gbps with zero frame latency AV over IP
The VPX-TC1 Pro series provides one of the most advanced 1G IP streaming solutions on the market using Aurora’s new Mimix™ CODEC technology. Mimix™ compression enables near-perfect playback of video and graphics at resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4 over 1G networks. It features only one frame (16.6ms) of latency and seamless switching for fast, lag-free content. Power consumption is significant, with the VPX-TC1 using just 8 watts.
It does this with no fan and a small form factor, saving a lot of money on utility bills as it uses 1/3 of the energy of comparable systems.
Audio, video, data, and control can be securely sent to one or multiple units using a commercially available 1G RJ-45 Ethernet switch. When the VPX-TC1 is configured as a transmitter, the two HDMI inputs become a source switch, and the HDMI output becomes a potential loop-through. When configured as a receiver, a user can select either the local HDMI inputs or an IP source.
Seamless source switching further enhances the presentation. Regardless of how the VPX-TC1 is configured, audio can be split into any location and/or sent to or received from a Dante®-enabled device. The USB port is also flexible, functioning as a KVM switch and/or high-speed (100 Mbps) data transfer for memory cards and cameras. Each USB function of the VPX-TC1 can also be configured as a host or device.
To keep the system user-friendly, an OSD and integrated web server are available for easy navigation and feature configuration.
