The VLX-TCW2H provides one of the most advanced IP streaming solutions on the market using Aurora’s IPBaseT® technology, which combines multiple IP/AV standards to work together as one.
It's the industry's first 4K UHD transceiver with a latency of just 1.5 frames (25 ms) and lossless visual compression. The VLX-TCW2H has two HDMI® ports. Using a transmitter (encoder) and a receiver (decoder) respectively was the standard until now.
The VLX-TCW2 series can be configured as either one for ease of installation, inventory, and troubleshooting. Note: The selected network switch must support 1 Gbps, non-blocking IGMP packets, and jumbo frames. The raw network cabling and patch cables are just as important as the switch itself.
When using copper, CAT5e, 6, or 6a cable is preferred for optimal performance, and it's important to follow standard rules for installing Ethernet cables. They should not be bent, coiled, placed near power lines, bundled tightly with other LAN cables, etc. Shielding is not required, but it can be used in noisy environments.
