EVO3 Initium (PZA)
The EVO3 Initium is IsoTek's new entry-level power cable, designed to deliver high-quality performance at an extremely reasonable price. Initium is a must-have to replace all your standard, plastic-clad power cables, which are designed with a price tag that doesn't match the quality.
CONSTRUCTION: Conductors are in a parallel construction with a slight twist. This established technique remains the first line of defense against RFI and EMI rejection. Conductors: 99.9999% OFC conductors offer an exceptional level of purity with enhanced conductivity. They are less likely to break down or degrade over time. Dielectric: PE dielectric (insulation) is chemically inert and has a very low dielectric constant over a wide frequency range. PE possesses a very high degree of resistance to stress cracking and a low coefficient of friction, making it an exceptional dielectric. PE is a good choice for both temperature safety and electrical insulation.
From a technical perspective, this is a highly advanced product that benefits from the renowned advantages of IsoTek's exclusive Polaris circuit, which in this case has been recalibrated to offer a highly effective solution at a very competitive price. The result is a power strip that significantly cleans up the AC signal coming from the mains. It supports a total of five components and a maximum power of 2,300 W, while providing high-level protection against current spikes—up to 13,500 amps—and surges. Internally, it's important to highlight that the EVO3 Venus's main line of action is focused on suppressing (through sophisticated filtering techniques such as IsoTek's exclusive Delta topology) noise from the mains, including both common mode and differential mode noise, in order to achieve a truly perceptible reduction in the parasitic noise present on the mains.
On the other hand, the use of completely separate power outlets prevents cross-contamination between them, ensuring that the AC signal feeding a network music player, for example, is completely isolated from the AC signal feeding a phono preamp, which handles much more delicate signals. The EVO3 Venus's construction is also of a very high standard, with internal wiring using silver-plated oxygen-ion-free copper conductors and a PTFE dielectric. As with any well-thought-out combination, the use of EVO3 Initium cables in each component and their connection to the EVO3 Venus aims to achieve what is sought in any assembly: that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
