THE WTR24(PZA)
The WTR24 is a 100-volt line transformer for impedance matching between low-impedance (8-ohm) loudspeakers and 100-volt amplifiers. Using the WTR24 line transformer, low-impedance loudspeakers can be applied to any 100-volt PA system where long cables may be used. The WTR24 has a maximum output power of 24 watts and different power taps for 24 watts, 12 watts, and 6 watts. The housing is designed to be water and dust resistant, while allowing it to be concealed anywhere, such as above dropped ceilings, in wall junction boxes, or in recesses within walls.
The primary connection (100V side) is made using a specially designed waterproof AWX 5 connector whereby the desired outlet can be selected depending on the rotation of the connector.
The secondary (8 Ohm side) is connected via a waterproof cable gland. A 0.5-meter connection cable is provided on both sides of the transformer.
The transformer's oversized core minimizes saturation and provides a noticeable improvement in sound reproduction, especially in the low-frequency range. All these features earn these transformers an IP66 ingress protection rating.
