The SMQ series are four-channel power amplifiers that set a new standard for affordable audio amplification in fixed and mobile audio installations. Their advanced features and availability in a variety of output power ratings (350 watts, 500 watts, 750 watts, and 1250 watts) provide tremendous flexibility for numerous applications.

The WaveDynamics™ DSP processor in combination with the 2.5” LCD display offers an unparalleled user experience with an intuitive function overview for easy setup. Acoustics can be optimized using Butterworth, Bessel, and Linkwitz-Riley filters with selectable attenuation that can be configured as low/high and band-pass, and the 7-band equalizer with adjustable frequencies and Q factor. Other functions provided include delay and dynamic bass boost. These settings can be customized using the amplifier’s front panel, through which access can be granted at two different levels (User and Administrator) via password or USB key protection.

Speaker protection is provided by an output power limiter, which allows you to set the maximum output power (in watts) for each channel. Setup is simplified with speaker presets and complete system configurations that can be selected from a library and loaded using a USB flash drive. This ensures the best acoustic performance with bulletproof speaker protection.

High flexibility and source compatibility is achieved through the input selection matrix combined with the terminal block and XLR signal connections.

Outputs are via speaker and terminal block connections. System integration is simplified via the RS-232 control port. An optional Dante™ interface is available for WaveDynamics™ amplifiers. Installing this network interface allows high-quality, low-latency audio to be received and sent over a standard Ethernet network.
