Compact two-channel power amplifier - 2 x 500W @ 4 Ohm - 1000W @ 70/100V
The SCP series is a range of extremely powerful, compact, dual-channel power amplifiers for commercial use. These mid-19" devices can be used in low-impedance stereo mode or in 70/100V bridged mode. There are five different models to suit a wide range of applications, with power ratings ranging from 120W to 1000W in a half-19" rack-space enclosure.
The compact and sleek 19” half-rack design allows for single installation in a 10.5” equipment rack, or side-by-side (two devices) installation in a 19” equipment rack. Desktop installation or equipment rack mounting is also possible using the MBS310 Series mounting adapters.
You might be wondering if so much power in such a small cabinet could cause heating issues. Not at all. The SCP series is uniquely designed to achieve optimal cooling performance, utilizing passive cooling in the SCP206 and SCP212 and active cooling in the SCP224, SCP230, and SCP250 to improve thermal comfort without the need for additional accessories.
Connection to WP2xx series input wall panels (see page 76) or volume controllers can be made via the RJ45 connector on the rear of the SCP. This enables a cost-effective plug-and-play solution for expanding or introducing new input and control options.
Equipped with a standby switch, the SCP series will enter a power-saving standby mode after a period of inactivity, making it unique in the market. This feature, along with the overall energy-efficient design, means the SCP meets the high standards of Energy Star certification.
WP2xx Series
These network input and output panels can be connected via an RJ-45 connector on the back of the SCP. This provides a cost-effective plug-and-play solution for expanding or adding new input and control options.
Optimal cooling
Could so much power in such a small cabinet cause heating issues? Not at all. The SCP series is uniquely designed to provide optimal cooling: passive cooling in the SCP206 and SCP212, and active cooling in the SCP224, SCP230, and SCP250.
