Sixteen-channel Class D amplifier 16 x 60W

The DPA616 is a sixteen-channel professional power amplifier capable of delivering 60 watts of power into 4-ohm loads connected to all 16 output channels. When used in bridged mode, it can deliver 120 watts of power into 8-ohm loads connected to all eight bridged outputs.

Thus, the DPA616 is the perfect solution for multi-zone audio distribution systems installed with 8 or 16 zones. This amplifier is designed as a no-nonsense amplifier with only the necessary controls and connections, creating great simplicity in use and installation. All input connections are made with 3-pin terminal block connectors, allowing the connection of balanced input signals.

Each channel is equipped with a separate gain control potentiometer, and for every two input connectors, there is a stereo/bridge and parallel switch. A parallel switch is provided whereby two channels can be bridged or linked in parallel, avoiding cable clutter when multiple channels are to be fed with the same input signal. Output connections are made with 4-pin terminal block connectors allowing connections for separate or bridged output channels. A built-in multi-purpose protection circuit guards against DC faults, short circuits, and overheating.
