The CAP248 offers two channels and has an output power of 480 watts. This creates a flexible solution for multi-zone audio distribution systems with two independent zones. They are designed as serious amplifiers with only the necessary controls and connections, creating great simplicity in use and installation.

High device efficiency and reliability are achieved through the use of switching power supplies combined with Class-D amplifier technology. A temperature-controlled fan constantly keeps all components within the correct operating range while preventing excessive hum. A built-in multipurpose protection circuit guards against DC malfunctions, short circuits, overheating, overloads, and limits the signal when necessary.

Input connections are made via balanced XLR connectors, and link output connectors are provided for linking through other amplifiers. Additionally, a high-pass filter switch (400 Hz) and a gain adjustment potentiometer are provided for each channel. Output connections are made using reliable terminal block connectors, and the entire unit is housed in a 19" rack-mountable enclosure.
