Dual Channel Power Amplifier 2 x 240W 100V

The CAP series are professional 100V multi-channel power amplifiers.

The CAP224 offers two channels and a 240-watt output power. This creates a flexible solution for multi-zone audio distribution systems with two independent zones. They are designed as serious amplifiers with only the necessary controls and connections, creating great simplicity in use and installation. High efficiency and reliability are achieved through the use of switching power supplies in combination with Class-D amplifier technology.

A temperature-controlled fan keeps all parts within the proper operating range and prevents excessive hum. A built-in multi-purpose protection circuit guards against DC faults, short circuits, overheating, overload, and limits the signal when necessary. Input connections are made via balanced XLR connectors, and link output connectors are provided for linking through other amplifiers. Additionally, a high-pass filter switch (400 Hz) and a gain adjustment potentiometer are provided for each channel. Output connections are made using reliable terminal block connectors, and the entire unit is housed in a 19" rack-mountable enclosure.
