The ARU204 (PZA)
It is specifically designed with flexibility and functionality in mind. Multiple ways to switch the four relays are provided, including the integrated web interface, optional PA consoles, and analog contact activation, making the ARU204 AUDAC one of the most intelligent and innovative relay modules. This ingenious device allows for switching between audio sources, signal routing, and even custom automation configurations. The two-pole relays allow switching of balanced mono and unbalanced stereo signals.
Normally open and normally closed contacts are also provided. A wide variety of signals can be switched, ranging from line-level audio signals to amplified speaker signals (low impedance or 100 V) and voltage distribution (low voltage up to 240 V AC mains voltage distribution). Relay triggering is possible via dry contact inputs, which can be used to trigger relays via external devices or actuators. Dry contacts have priority over digital functions/triggers. Typical applications are activations via external buttons, switches, or alarm contacts. Thanks to its modular nature, the ARU204 is perfectly suited for small domestic or retail applications, as well as large installations.
Integrating numerous ARU20x units into a system is made possible thanks to RS485, which allows multiple units to be daisy-chained together. The ARU208 features an RS485 input and output connector, allowing for even more convenient connections. TCP/IP control capabilities allow the ARU20x to be integrated into any Ethernet network. The built-in web browser running an HTML5 interface enables the most flexible and comprehensive operation, while the freely available command set allows integration with any TCP/IP-based control or automation system. The front of the black ABS housing offers a brief description of its connection possibilities, while the rear is equipped with a spring-loaded mounting mechanism that allows easy mounting on widely available standard DIN rails. This makes it possible to easily integrate it into any electrical cabinet where it can be powered by the optional PSD24x power supply.
