8" speaker with 4 watt, 25V/70V transformer and vandal-resistant baffle

Designed specifically for installations that may be targeted by vandals, AtlasIED's VP14 system provides highly intelligible voice reinforcement with the added benefit of extreme ruggedness. To address work-splitting requirements, VP components are ordered separately.

The VP14MB vandal-resistant sloped wall-mount baffle, with an attractive neutral white finish, is ideal for use in high-security areas such as schools and correctional facilities. Its rugged 14-gauge baffle construction and specially designed protective labyrinth screen protect the included speaker assembly from abuse. Each package contains a high-quality 8" diameter speaker with a 10 oz. ceramic magnet and a pre-assembled 25V/70.7V transformer with five power plugs terminated in a Euroblock style connector. This connector includes three blank blocks to allow direct connection of other devices such as call switches or intercoms without the need for wire nuts.
