Vandal-proof flush-mounted boxes for VPVT series stations

The VPVT-PB Series vandal-resistant speaker station resists damage from abuse, moisture, corrosion, dust, vibration, and extreme temperatures from 150° to -30°F. The station is available in a 15-watt model with a 12-gauge stainless steel plate mounted on the high-efficiency VT-series compression driver. The patented 8-ohm driver with water-sealed, die-cast zinc housing and exponential sound projector is renowned for its reliable performance and high intelligibility of voice and signal transmission. The controller functions as a speaker and microphone for hands-free remote station communication with a centrally located master control. The VPVT-PB series incorporates a vandal-resistant call switch with a 3 amp contact rating for call signaling capability. The call switch is a heavy duty momentary action push button flush mounted for safety and durability. Station assemblies are installed with tamper-resistant button-head screws in a flush-mount enclosure (order separately). VPVT-PB measures 7 1/4"SQ (184 mm) and mounts in Model VP-77 cabinet, size 5 1/2"W x 6 1/4"H x 3 1/2"D (159 x 140 x 90mm). The enclosure is 16 gauge CRS with a rust preventative coating.

VPB-1A is a vandal-resistant push-button intercom accessory mounted on a one-size-fits-all 12-gauge stainless steel plate. Use the assembly in conjunction with VPVT and VPCS stations or as a stand-alone signaling device when a separate or remotely located call origination button is desired. The switch is a normally open SPST circuit with a 3 amp contact rating. Vandal-resistant hardware is installed using a 6–32 socket head screwdriver bit for a standard 1/4" nut driver.
