Microphone preamplifier (PZA )
The high dynamic range, low noise TSD-ML11 microphone preamplifier is perfect for use as a stand-alone preamplifier or in conference room systems, boardrooms, courtrooms, council chambers, and public forum systems requiring microphone mute and push-to-talk functionality.
The unit features switchable phantom power for powering condenser microphones and has four EQ cutoff filters centered on common frequencies to eliminate feedback and control vocal shaping. The variable microphone preamplifier helps further eliminate noise for quiet operation, while also reducing unwanted coloration and pitch shifts, and a 12 dB high-pass filter at 125 Hz is available on each microphone input to minimize bass rumble and low-frequency feedback in the system and ensure focus and clarity remain within the vocal sound spectrum. An output limiter/compressor is also included to protect the system and prevent clipping and eliminate distortion. The Mic Mute and Mic On controls allow you to mute or enable the system microphones to prioritize the speaker.
The unit requires a power supply sold separately to operate properly; multiple TSDs can be powered with one power supply depending on current requirements. This unit has a 100mA power requirement, so any of the TSD power supplies available with the unit can be used. For multiple TSD applications, use the TSD Energy Calculator to determine the appropriate power supply needed.
