Microphone mixer (PZA )

The TSD-MIX31RL 3x1 mic/line mixer includes two balanced mic/line inputs via removable Phoenix-style connectors and a dual stereo summing RCA input. Switchable phantom power is provided for both microphone inputs to facilitate the use of condenser microphones. High-quality, low-noise internal microphone preamps ensure clarity and quiet operation without unwanted coloration. A 12 dB/octave high-pass filter at 125 Hz is also available on each input to minimize bass rumble and low-frequency feedback.

Priority paging can be achieved by contact closure or VOX trigger on input 1 (mutes input 3 only). The Remote Level Control feature allows the use of the AAVC-10K (or equivalent) decorative wallplate control for convenient remote adjustment of the entire mix bus or just input 3 (typical BGM input). A variable output limiter provides system protection by reducing clipping and distortion, which is especially useful when mixing multiple microphones and/or line sources at different volumes.

The unit requires a separately sold power supply to operate properly; multiple TSDs can be powered with one power supply depending on current requirements. This unit has a 60 mA power requirement, so any of the available TSD power supplies can be used with the unit.
