Compression driver for large format horn speakers with 75 watt, 70 V transformer

The PD75T is a fully environmentally resistant 75-watt driver for indoor or outdoor applications and is recommended for use in large areas and/or areas with high ambient sound levels. This model features a sound chamber, phase connector, magnetic structure components machined to optimal tolerances, 2" voice coil and offers a plane wave frequency response of 100 Hz - 3.7 kHz.

This unit, which consists of a 16 Ω tapped transformer, the PD75T provides screw-type terminals for direct matching to the 16 Ω voice coil impedance, and a 70.7 volt line-matching transformer with multiple taps, impregnated with built-in varnish. The corrosion-resistant terminal connections are protected by a transparent cover. Impact-resistant plastic cover

The PD75T is terminated in standard 1 3⁄8"-18 male thread couplings for use with screw-on horns or with AtlasIED model YDA-TH adapters for large-format screw-on horns. Diaphragms are replaceable with proper equipment. A replacement diaphragm, model PD75TDIA, is available.

The internal components are enclosed within a protective housing injection molded from polycarbonate and die-cast and finished in gray baked epoxy.
