ESD15 KVV 987 313 Passive speaker (PZA)

The new ESD15 incorporates a single 15" coaxial transducer with a 1.75" titanium nitride neodymium compression driver in an 80 x 60 degree wide dispersion horn. Whereas most coaxial speakers will attempt to cover the entire frequency response, the ESD15's coaxial driver only covers the bass and treble, leaving the all-important midrange to a 6" neodymium speaker mounted in a large 80 x 60 degree horn. This solves the problem of the 15" driver trying and failing to reproduce the midrange, a common problem with conventional coaxial designs.

The ESD15's unique design delivers extremely flat, full-range reproduction from a compact yet powerful package that outperforms speakers twice its size, weight, and price.
