DNA2404CH Series 100-Volt 4-Channel Amplifier with CobraNet® Network Audio
The internal amplifier cards are dual-channel Class D (switch mode) 600W amplifiers into nominal loads (100 volts into 16 Ω). Class D operation, combined with an integral switch-mode power supply, offers many advantages and the IED's unique design takes full advantage of these benefits. They include greater efficiency, greater reliability, better performance and lower operating costs. Switch-mode operation combined with high-voltage power MOSFET devices eliminates heavy, expensive, and bulky transformers. The IED design is stable under all loading conditions (phase angles from 0 to 360 degrees). The amplifier card has 34 dB of gain from its analog input to the speaker output. Attenuation is handled before the power amplifier by DSP controls via software.
Inputs are provided for connecting up to eight (8) 540S ambient noise sensors (2 sensors for each output channel). This allows the output of each channel to be automatically adjusted in real time based on the ambient noise level measured in the area.
The DNA2404CH features LED indicators for power, audio signals, and fault status. Also included is a Form C relay which will indicate that a fault is present. The DNA2404CH provides 600 watts per channel for 100-volt transformer-distributed speaker systems and operates on a 220 VAC power supply.
