Little Diamond
The 805 D4 may be smaller than its floorstanding siblings, but it’s no small feat: its beautifully crafted reverse-wrap cabinet and 165mm (6.5-inch) Continuum™ cone midrange/bass driver with solid aluminium pods allow it to exhibit exceptional bass extension and sense of scale despite being a relatively compact speaker.
Diamond Dome Tweeter
Without a doubt one of our most significant achievements of the last two decades, the ultra-light and supremely precise Diamond dome tweeter is the perfect combination of low mass, exceptional rigidity, and outstanding definition. 15 years after its introduction to the market, we still haven't found a better dome tweeter technology.
Tweeter mounted in a solid enclosure
Our newest Top-Mounted Solid Enclosure Tweeter features an elongated shape with a longer, tapered tubular enclosure loading system for an even freer, more open sound in the high frequencies. The carefully decoupled enclosure has been machined from a single block.
Rear panel mounted filter
The 805 D4's new inverted-shell enclosure design means we can house its sensitive crossover components in their own dedicated space within the main enclosure, providing critical advantages in both performance and maintenance. We've also had the opportunity to improve the connection terminals.
